Well it's officially over. the second season of Legend of Korra is finished. I managed to see the last 2 episodes early. In the end...it was.....FUCKING EPIC!
I won't give anything away, but for those who are fans of both series, DO NOT MISS THESE EPISODES!
That being said, I do have some thoughts on the overall 2nd season, or the spirits book.
What I liked: - A deeper look into the origins of the Avatar. - Plenty of action that made you at the edge of your seat (especially the last 2 episodes) - Varreck - Everything managed to tie itself together nicely. - Great use of secondary characters. - Korra's true spiritual growth.
What i didn't like: - Korra, inspite of season 1, was still a brat (at first) - some episodes seemed like mindless filler - Shaky start - Not enough Lin Beifong (and mishandling the character it seemed).
Overall, yeah the positives outweighed the negatives. you realize that at a certain point in the season/book, that Korra is going to be a far more powerful Avatar then Aang was (you'll understand).
I'm positive there will be a third season. question is...can they keep continuity? (i will give them a break from the first to second, as the creators weren't sure if there was going to be more then one season) And just what CA Korra face next that will change the world? Season 3 better not disappoint should it come.

I liked it, Lin Bei Fong is Republic City, not the South or North Pole. So her lack of appearance is justified. As for Korra, I think her being a brat is how it's supposed to be. I thought Season 2 was really good.
