Here are the rules for role playing again, in case anyone missed them.
General Rules
1.) 1 Role Plays per show, 2 per pay-per view. Unless otherwise noted.
2.) Tag Team RPs are 1 per person, 2 per team, regardless.
3.) Interviewers are Sam King and Klieo Valentien, feel free to use them. Sam King, is the type that gets bullied easily while Kleio is beautiful young woman who is enthusiastic about the sport.
4.) You must role play for each match you're in. If you cannot, PLEASE let a staff member know.
5.) If you don't role play for your debut match, you're going to be removed from the roster. We'll let you rejoin ONCE after that, but if you fail to role play again, then you're out for good. If you've been in over a month, you're allowed two no shows before your character is released from their contract.
6.) Role plays will be judged on Quality BEFORE Quantity. A 5k+ Word wall of text does NOT win, nor does 50 words, unless your opponent no shows. If you try to write more than your opponent, that's fine but don't over do it. The limits are for Defiance max limits are 3,000 words while PPVs are 4,000 UNLESS otherwise noted.
7.) Role plays are about WRESTLING. Don't get us wrong, it doesn't have to be the typical Hogan or HHH Promo. You can have any sort of setting, but we look for certain things in role plays. If it hypes your match, any feuds, characters (building up your opponent is a plus), trash talking (anyone is allowed, trash talking yourself can believe it or not work in your favor sometimes).
8.) Deadline is 11:59PM EST MONDAY (before the Defiance) unless noted.
9.) If multiple role plays are allowed for a match, only ONE role play allowed in the final 24 hours of each card.
10.) Only 1 role play in the span of an hour, meaning if you post one, don't post another 5 minutes after.
11.) Writing segments for the show HELPS YOUR CHARACTER. It does NOT count as a role play and it does NOT guarantee you a victory nor will it grease the wheels.
12.) If you attack/bury another person's character without their permission, you will be punished THEN fired.
13.) Your role plays MUST be posted on our forums. If you have an off site link to your role play, we understand the time and effort you put in to it but please post it here. By all means, we WILL look at your website version if you link to it in your role play at the end.
14.) BE CREATIVE! Leon Robert's once set a pedophile on fire but had him escape (leaving his fate unknown). Bel Biggz was never sure where he was or what he was writing and wrote namely for himself. DJ Styles was the Emissary of Evil and Chase Davis was The BEST in the World and showed it off. Be creative with not only your gimmicks but also your role plays.
Title Rules
1.) World Championship: 2 per person on Defiance, 3 per person at pay per views.
2.) Tag Team Championships: 1 per person, 2 per team regardless of the show.
3.) X-Custom Championship: 2 per person. Winner will be PM'd to name their championship.
4.) Television Championship: One per match, unless specified.
Role Play Grading System
This is something that I NEED to emphasis so people know head of time. We rate on a scale using the following factors...
1.) Relevance: Do you talk about your match and/or arc and advance either/both meaningful way or not?
2.) Creativity: Simple, is it enjoyable and interesting or is it dull and bland? The more interesting and enjoyable it is, the more points you'll receive.
3.) Flow: Do you lose me or not? Do you jump around from scene to scene like a Uwe Boll movie or are you straight forward and flow into the next scene like Mass Effect? Spelling & Grammar will have play here, so be sure to know what they're talking about over there with their friends.
4.) Trash Talk: Even in professional wrestling, there's trash talk. Some people are good at it and some are not, and because of that, it takes the LEAST priority. Everyone's done it since Sammartino or Flair's days. Bel Biggz wasn't a trash talker here, but he was ALWAYS A STRONG CONTENDER while Sigmund the Cerebral was a true villain that refined this to modern art. Some have the gift while others done, it won't help and it won't hurt you to have some trash talk. If you're wondering how this is done, heels usually drag their opponents through the mud and insult them while faces give them props and build them up before bringing them down to their level.
With those known, I put the point system as this, the point system will NEVER be posted just kept in the admin area.
