Title History:
1 time "world's heavyweight" champion
Various regional singles and tags titles
Bio:
Professionally, Bel Biggz (stage name), was forced to retire at the end of 2007. It was a fitting swan song. He had declared that it would be his year. He had been wrestling since he was 18 and while he had what many people in the business considered a star factor about him, he never amounted to much of anything.
This, though, was his fault. His ability garnered him attention and thus he made money in this business. Throughout the 90s and most of the 2000s, he showed up, made cash, spent that cash on heroin, shot up, flamed out, and got himself fired. There would be a cool down period, some tear-jerking rehab, and a promise to the business that he was done with that. It was a vicious cycle and this went on until around 2006.
At this time, approaching 40, he maybe had his fill of ring rats. He got married to a few of them. Divorced them all. He finally met someone who helped him to get his life together. It allowed for one of those inspirational stories that could have been the script for a made for TV movie.
He made it to the "top" and as he would say "got his star".
Reality set in and by the end of 2007, he had lost the title, he had suffered a broken leg in the middle of a match, and his star had been effectively snuffed out.
The End.
So he got married, his wife (the 3rd one) popped out two kids, and for the last four or so years, he has played house.
A lot of this saga has already been written. In fact, this story seems to be over.
Why do this?
It's time for a new story.
Theme music: "The World Is Mine" by Giorgio Moroder
Video/link?: www.youtube.com/watch?v=KCA5-1ZiTXw
Entrance: Giorgio Moroder's "The World Is Mine" takes over the PA system. Bel saunters out to the ring methodically, focused on one thing, the match. No smiles, no high fives, and no pandering to the people.
Weapon of choice: The metal knee brace on his left knee.
Strength (not limited to physical): 20+ year veteran, excellent technical mind
Weakness (not limited to physical): Bad knee, bad attitude towards the business
Style type: old age(old in a world that constantly brings in young fresh talent - like any sport) and injuries have taken what used to be risk-taking go-all-out ringstyle into something slow and pensive. Every move means something, no chances taken.
Top 15 most frequently used moves:
-side headlock
-scoop slam
- sleeper hold
- figure 4 leglock
- vertical suplex
- running legdrop
- snake-eyes (lift and drop face first into turnbuckle)
- hot shot (dropping throat onto ring rope)
- pendulum backbreaker
- running bulldog
- reverse DDT
- eye poke
- low blows (done in stealth if in a normal match, blatant otherwise
Signature move: "Muff Dive" single-arm DDT
Main Finisher: "Bel-Trasm"
-Description: corkscrew fisherman's suplex
